We are here for you, parents.

Check this blog regularly for weekly information on what we are learning at Ignite.   We'll provide some tips on how you, as parents, can connect with your kids spiritually and practical ways to lead them as they grow closer to God.

Igniting hearts with passion for Jesus Christ

and spreading the fire of God's love

to a world in need.

"His word burns in my heart like a fire."

--Jeremiah 20:9

When teens come to Ignite youth meetings, they come to hang out with their friends and grow in relationship with each other and with God.  Each week, teens discuss issues that they face in their everyday lives and how to deal with them in a Christian way. Students will learn how to strengthen their relationship with God, serve the needy, share their faith with their friends, and live life like Jesus did. This group will prepare teens to make their faith their own and to keep growing spiritually after they graduate from high school.

Students will have a lasting understanding of three things:

  1. I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my creator.
  2. I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.
  3. I exist every day to demonstrate God's love to a broken world.

For the 2013-2014 school year, Ignite will meet at the church on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm.
